whole classroom

Dynamic classroom-based one-time workshops and long-term residencies designed to foster classroom culture. In collaboration with the classroom teacher, students will practice social and emotional skills, incorporating self-awareness, social awareness, and relationship skills.

small groups

Teacher- or social worker-identified students will work together in targeted small groups outside of the classroom during the school day to address disruptive behavior and practice mindfulness techniques to foster learning.

Thoughtful lesson planning, curriculum development, and trauma-informed management techniques to support dynamic classrooms. Drama therapy-based team building to enhance school culture and support professional development. 

100% of teachers surveyed report they will integrate the games, activities, and/or lessons into their teaching practices.

Susie Schutt, theatre educator, registered drama therapist, and mental health counselor, will be visiting classrooms to work with teachers and students on their social and emotional skills, utilizing drama therapy and play. Through games and activities, kids will practice self awareness, body and emotion regulation, and techniques and strategies to manage stress, anxiety, and frustration. While Susie is a therapist, please note, students will not be engaged in therapy during her visits.
